I'm an engineering leader based in Kenya, with 15+ years building and scaling distributed systems across fintech: payments, lending, and financial data platforms at companies including Microsoft, Twiga Foods, JUMO, and Credrails.
I'm currently an engineering manager at Numida, leading a team of five. Alongside the core engineering management work, I've been building out agentic AI systems: autonomous developer tooling, LLM-driven automation, and the infrastructure that lets it run safely in production. I'm also completing a Master's in Data Science, which grounds my understanding of the ML methods behind the systems I automate and build infrastructure for.
